Dr. Huw Williams, Veterinarian

Dr. Williams, originally from Wales, received his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from the Royal Veterinary College (RCVS) in London, England.

He spent his early years as a vet working in England, where he dealt with both farm and companion animals. In 1982, he moved to South Africa in Natal province, where he worked with equine and companion animals.

Dr. Williams came to Canada in 1985, working at a small animal practice in Newfoundland, which he took over in 1990. He made the move to the Okanagan Valley in the summer of 2002, and after working for awhile at an animal hospital in Lake Country, opened the K.L.O. Veterinary Hospital in the fall of 2003.

Dr. Williams loves working with his Kelowna clients, and enjoys the fun lifestyle that Kelowna has to offer. He owns and has owned many pets in his life, and loves being a veterinarian due to the variety of life that his job offers each day. He is married and has two children. 

Since coming to Canada, Dr. Williams is a member of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association and the British Columbia Veterinary Medical Association.

Ashley Roberts, Veterinary Assistant

 Ashley graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010 and began working in a small veterinary hospital shortly after.  In 2014 she relocated to Kelowna where she started working at the K.L.O. Veterinary Hospital. Ashley's love for animals began at an early age and her dream has always been to pursue a career in the veterinary field. Ashley currently has a 5 year old, male, black and white cat named Panda, a 15 month old, female, calico cat named Iris, and a very energetic male, Border Collie named Tens. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys camping, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and of course, spending as much time as possible with her lovely fur family.

Nicola Davis, Veterinary Assistant

Nicola graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program in Kelowna in the spring of 2006, and joined the K.L.O. team immediately after finishing college. She loves working with animals, and says "The atmosphere here at K.L.O. is energetic and fun, and the amazing clients we see on a day to day basis make the hospital a great place to work."

Nicola is married, has a son named Cassius and four pets; two Great Danes named Coraline and Annabelle, an American Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Oscar, and a black and white cat named Woodrow.

When Nicola isn't taking care of pets at K.L.O., she can be found spending time with her family  (four legged ones included) or playing soccer.

Kaylie Lukey, Veterinary Assistant

Kaylie brought her life long love of animals to K.L.O. in early 2018. She loves the team environment at K.L.O Veterinary Hospital and enjoys helping clients and their furry companions any way she can.

kaylie  has two children,  and two pets; a Great Dane x name Yogee and a black cat named Clapper.
